Here is my interpretation of Beatrix Potter’s “Mrs Rabbit.” In the children’s stories, she is the widowed mother of Flopsy, Mopsy, Peter and Cottontail Rabbit.
She is all needle felted from different wools and wool batting. Her whiskers are horse hair. I wet felted her dress and apron, they are permanently attached to her. I wet felted the basket she is carrying and needle felted the flowers that are in it. She is 20 cms high and is permanently posed on her log plinth.
She is a sculpture to be looked at and enjoyed, she is not a toy. She will live happily in your home or your office, keeping you company and smiling secretly when nobody is looking ……..
She is a unique item. If she sells, I can make a similar one but it will not be exactly the same as each one is individually crafted with love.
